Bike Parade This Thursday
Bring the entire family and enjoy this Pleasant Grove tradition that takes place Thursday, July 1st at 6:45pm. The annual bike parade starts at Swinburne and Pynchon Hall and wanders through the neighborhood before ending in the cul-de-sac of Pynchon Hall.
Dan Lawler, our steadfast neighbor who has coordinated this event for years, is looking for volunteers to help with festivities. Please contact Dan at DanJLawler@comcast.net if you can help. And remember to give Dan a big thanks for his years of great effort! THANKS DAN!!!

Reminder: Lock your Car and Home Doors
Neighbors are reminded that summertime is a favorite for theives and more aggressive burglars have been caught on video in developments just outside Pleasant Grove. Most burglaries take place during the day when residents are typically at work. But surrounding Pleasant Grove neighborhoods have witnessed early morning break in attempts.
Theives have been reported to pull into neighborhoods during the early morning hours with their lights out and park then attempt to find cars that are unlocked. Security videos have also recorded would-be theives on decks attempting to open back doors. These reports followed a break-in at Applegate where the family was home sleeping.
Please take the few extra moments to make sure your doors and windows are secure, including any alternative entrances you might have to your garage or basement doors. A secure house seems to be a good deterent to thwarting burglars.
Trash Pick Up on Monday, July 6
The township has reminded residents that Monday, July 6 is NOT a holiday. Neighbors are to expect normal trash and recycling pick-up.
